I have just finished reading an article in New Scientist about a so called charity that runs a website about autism. A brigth 14 year old blogger (let us use labels), autistic, was made to remove her blog because she infriged the copyright of "Autism Speaks". Not asked to remove the logo but

TSPEAKS SUED!!!!

Today i received a legal document signed by 30 lawers global saying they are suing me for $90,000 reasons:
Copyright infringement
Funds Lost
And -1million Worth of Supporters Decline (cant be i got 1 hit per day on that site)
So the semi-popular site http://ntspeaks.org has been closed.

They also said any other websites to use the Autism Speaks Logo's, Phrases, And All Trade Marked Material Against Them Will Receive A Lawsuit As Well.

Why do we have this plethora of labels for those of us who don't conform exactly to the current politically correct view of attitude or behaviour? I am sick and tired of hearing lawyers making excuses for law breakers because they have ADD. Not the co-morbids that CAN  be associated with it. I have ADD. My children are ADD, many of my grand children have ADD. Some of us are medicated. Some are not. One daughter is completing her PHD. One daughter has completed her BSc with honours. One grandaughter has a law degree but chooses to be a ski instructor in Austria. None of this mob is BORING!!! Would we get rid of this condition if we could? NOT BLOODY LIKELY !!

We all are living happy, fulfilled and interesting lives. Sometimes the dishes aren't washed, sometimes someone is yelled at because homework is not done or chemical experiments are messing up the kitchen bench. Quiet life...not really ! Full life..You betcha.
